Welcome to What Robert Eats: A journey to eating healthy, saving money, saving time, and cooking more... one meal prep at a time!
This is the first entry, so let me tell you about myself. I'm 30 years old, living in NY, and very much trying to be attentive of what I'm eating these days. I am a vegetarian since December 3rd, 2016 and have been on the search for good food in every veggie avenue. I've found that all it takes is basic culinary skills & utensils, and anyone can probably cook what they're craving, save money, and eat healthier than buying some mixed package in a store.
That's where this story began. Join me and lets take it further one post at a time.
This is a shared experience through Instagram and Blogger, so (if you haven't already,) please follow @whatroberteats on IG. I will be posting once a week what I've done, with images, and with that you can plan for the following week.
I prep for four days of the week. You can choose to make a little extra for a fifth day, but I find anything cooked and sitting in a refrigerator for more than four days is a little too risky.
As this blog moves forward there will be plenty to choose from, leave comments and links of what you think I should try, what you liked or didn't like in the recipes, or even what you'd do differently -I'm always down to try and modify!
So, without further ado...
